1. Warranty Coverage

Lighting Fixtures

All Lookinglight lighting fixtures include a 2-year limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

LED Bulbs

LED bulbs included with your purchase are provided as free gifts. As they are complimentary, they are not covered under this warranty.

2. What This Warranty Covers

The warranty applies to defects that occur under normal residential use, including:

  • Wiring defects or electrical connection issues
  • Switch malfunctions
  • Loose, broken, or missing structural parts
  • Premature corrosion
  • Paint, coating, or finish defects occurring under normal usage

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover any damage caused by improper use, installation, or external conditions, including:

  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow installation instructions
  • Power surges, voltage fluctuations, or electrical spikes
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, or weather conditions (for indoor fixtures)
  • Unauthorized repairs, disassembly, or modifications
  • Accidental damage, dropping, or physical impact
  • Normal wear and tear, aging, or minor cosmetic blemishes
  • Damage caused by commercial or industrial use (residential warranty only)

4. Conditions That Void the Warranty

Your warranty may become void if:

  • The fixture is installed by an unlicensed electrician (where required by law)
  • Product usage exceeds residential standards
  • Alterations or aftermarket modifications are made
  • The product is used outdoors without being rated for outdoor use

5. Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your product has a defect covered under our warranty:

  • Contact our support team at support@lookinglight.com
  • Include your order number, description of the issue, and photos/videos demonstrating the problem
  • Our team will evaluate the claim and determine whether a repair, replacement part, or a full replacement is appropriate

Please do not return any products without authorization.

6. Resolution Options

If your claim is approved, we may provide one of the following:

  • A replacement part (e.g., wiring, canopy, hardware)
  • A full replacement of the lighting fixture
  • Store credit or partial refund (case-by-case assessment)

7. Limitations of Liability

Lookinglight is not responsible for:

  • Labor costs for removal or reinstallation
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Damages resulting from electrical or structural issues unrelated to the product

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights depending on your state or local laws.
